The
Beggining
Workhorse (Workhorse Group Incorporated) is an American manufacturing company based in Cincinnati, Ohio, focused on manufacturing electrically powered delivery and utility vehicles.
The company was founded in 1998 by investors who took over the production of General Motors' P30/P32 series stepvan and motorhome chassis. The company transitioned through changes in direction and ownership until In March 2015 AMP Electric Vehicles took over and began offering a range of electrically powered delivery vans.

The W-15 Pickup
The Workhorse W-15 is the first plug-in range extended electric pickup built from the ground up by an OEM. Lithium ion battery cells from Panasonic provide a 100 mile all‑electric range, while the onboard generator works to recharge while driving to get the job done.
The gasoline Range Extender offers additional range of high-efficiency driving. The W-15 comes equipped with an external 7.2 kw power outlet providing up to 30 amps directly from the vehicle battery pack.

The Horsefly
The HorseFly™ UAV Delivery system is a custom built, high efficiency octocopter-based delivery UAV that is fully integrated with our line of electric/hybrid delivery trucks. The HorseFly system is designed to conform to the FAA guidelines for UAV operation in the U.S.
Most notably, being fully integrated with delivery trucks, the system is designed such that a driver or driver’s assistant can maintain line-of-sight operation of the UAV delivery process.
